One day, Vincent was watching a show about strange and unusual things in different cultures; he saw an episode about an Asian company that created mock funerals for people that were suffering from depression and suicidal tendencies. It was designed to show them that death was not something to relish, and that their lives were valued by those around them. While Vincent was more than happy to be alive, he decided that planning his own funeral would be better than leaving it to someone else, and so he contacted a funeral home in Los Angeles to see what kinds of things should be taken into consideration when planning for the end. The curator he spoke to invited him down to the funeral home to look at several options, and so an appointment was set. Vincent did not know what to expect, but he looked forward to the meeting with a sense of morbid anticipation.
